Services

Here at the Greenwich Carers Centre we are proud to support those who dedicate their time to caring for family, friends and neighbours.

Our services are varied and range from tailored one-to-one practical and emotional support to education workshops, information and advice, wellbeing and recreational activities.  Our aim is to reach out to and include the diverse community of carers and cared for in Greenwich.

Our team of dedicated and professional Carer Support Workers are on hand to support you with any aspect of your caring role. They will be happy to make an appointment to see you at the centre, at an outreach location, at your home or over the telephone.  We tailor our service to each individual carer which may include:

  • Benefits advice
  • Form filling
  • Training
  • Therapeutic wellbeing initiatives
  • Workshops
  • Support groups
  • Creative activities
  • Telephone mentoring

Wellbeing Worker is based at the centre.  They can talk to you about what wellbeing means for you and guide you into activities to support your emotional, physical and mental wellbeing.

Keeping In Touch (KIT) Telephone Support is available and carers can receive regular calls and telephone mentoring.  Carers have reported that these calls have been invaluable during difficult times, when they have needed a listening ear, advice or emotional support.

Why not drop in to see us or to have a coffee and a break at our cafe, we’d love to meet you
